However, I'm starting to have some major anxiety.
This time next Thursday, I'll be here:

visiting my sister. I'm super excited to go to D.C. for a few days - do some sightseeing, but mainly to spend some quality time with my little sister. We don't see each other nearly enough - which is sad for two sisters as close as we are. I can't wait to see her and her cute apartment in Georgetown...can't wait to see her job at the National Archives, cook in her cute kitchen, go to the flea market, and meet the new boy in her life. (It must be getting serious - she made him noodles shaped liked molars when he broke a tooth. I mean, come on!) I. Can't. Wait!
Squee!
However...
I will be making this journey solo.
By myself.
Alone.
Which means that Hudson is staying home with Daddy.
I have never been away from my boy for more than 24 hours. He's had a couple of sleepovers with grandparents, but they are usually an evening drop off so the hubs and I can have a date night, with a morning pick up. This trip will be Thursday-Sunday and I'm not sure how I'll survive. I KNOW that Hudson will be fine...Jared is an excellent daddy and he'll have a blast with all of that daddy time...but still....
What do I do? How will I survive?
Any advice for this panicked mommy?

No advice but good luck and have fun!! My little sister lives out of town and I have been dying to go see her too but have had hesitation as to what to do with the kids while Dan works and goes to school. Is Jared working? Does Hudson go to school/daycare? How are you swinging it? Just curious so I can start to plan too!!
I look forward to seeing all of your pics when you get back!
